QWERTskY (pronounced as “kwúrt‑skee”) is the pen name of an apolitical author also known as an anonymous author for Freedom. QWERTskY’s permanent location, legal name, and even gender are presently unknown. A humanitarian with no thirst for fame, QWERTskY has a day job of an international envoy tasked with war and conflict remediation. Anonymity enables the writer to connect with diverse worldwide audiences while keeping a low profile and steering clear of big-money media, politically motivated gatekeepers, and ignorant private bullies. In turn, QWERTskY represents an unsponsored, politically unaffiliated, uncensored public voice.

QWERTskY writes mixed genre and fiction narratives that not only entertain and inspire but also aim to deliver an unpretentious yet actionable message of empathy and self‑reflection about things that matter to most of us — world peace, the environment, human rights, mental health, and other threatened, fragile privileges of intelligent Earthlings. With or without being spelled out, inferences from these serious topics dwell humbly behind QWERTskY’s storylines, waiting to be discovered by readers of all ages and cultures and, hopefully, melded into the backbone of a kinder, wiser civilization.

This site’s content is vetted by QWERTskY and managed by the writer’s virtual editorial assistant — yours truly, Sandy (a real name). QWERTskY tries to respond to many inquiries from this site’s contact page but is slow to do so, in big part because the writer has no social media connectivity and relies on email only. The exception is QWERTskY’s Twitter, which may be used for private messaging, albeit quite rarely, as the platform tracks user geolocation data. If one is inspired — and persistent enough — to direct-message QWERTskY, that handle is @QWERTskY_books (and you must NOT feel insulted if QWERTskY blocks you after your DM chat!). Any other social profiles anywhere bearing the pen name are not QWERTskY’s.
